King Solomon’s Kitchen was born out of a passion for good food and a love for sharing the rich culinary traditions of Jamaica with the Calgary community. It all started with our founder and head chef, Solomon, who grew up on the sunny shores of Jamaica. From a young age, Solomon was surrounded by the bold flavors and vibrant spices that define Jamaican cuisine. Inspired by his heritage and his family’s time-honored recipes, Solomon set out to bring a taste of the Caribbean to Canada.

After moving to Calgary, Solomon noticed there was something missing – the soul-satisfying, flavor-packed dishes he grew up with. So, he decided to open King Solomon’s Kitchen, a place where everyone can experience the warmth and vibrancy of Jamaican cooking.
